In most instances you will get your car title back when you pay off the car title loan. One exception may be if we haven’t received your car title back from the DMV. When you get a loan from American Title Loans, we send your car title to the state DMV to list our company as lien holders. In some states it can take up to a few weeks for the DMV to add us as a lien holder and send the car title back to us.
